As a student, it's important to know how the industry is affecting the actors as well. There are different types of actors and there are different types of directors so it's good to learn about the type of people you'd like to work with. As a consumer, it helps to broaden which movies I want to spend my money on. "Nightcrawler" seems like a good choice.
